Introducing Mentor Mentee 2.0
This update brings several enhancements to Mentor Mentee’s platform to improve the mentoring workflow for all participants — Managers, Mentors, Mentees, and Apprentices — streamlining processes, and making day-to-day training smoother and more efficient. Mentor Mentee 2.0 is set to go live November 19th, 2024. Take a look at Mentor Mentee’s exciting new features and improvements below!
Enhanced Functionality
Mentor Mentee 2.0 introduces enhanced functionality designed to support comprehensive skill development. Core features include:
- Pathways: A step-by-step system for mentoring. The Pathways system offers the ability to track Mentee progress from role to role (i.e.: Entry-Level to C-Tech to B-Tech and beyond), guiding Mentors and Mentees with step-by-step advancement. Assessments and Start-Up Courses are included in the Pathways system to set expectations early.
- Certification Tracking: Allows Mentees to store earned certificates in their profile. Managers can plan and track certifications for each step in the pathway, helping Mentees understand exactly what is needed to advance in their career.
- External Course Planning and Tracking: Within a pathway, Managers can list out any and all external courses (online or in-person) a Mentee needs to complete before advancing to their next role. Whether training takes place in the shop, in a classroom, or online, you can manage it all inside your Mentor Mentee account.
These enhancements make it easier to take charge of growth and training, fostering a more skilled and engaged team.
Ease of Use
Mentor Mentee 2.0 prioritizes ease of use to enhance your overall user experience. Significant improvements include:
- User-Friendly Design: Mentor Mentee’s new user-friendly design features functionality for all in-shop devices including desktops, laptops, and tablets with major improvements to how the system looks and feels.
- Dashboard Updates: The improved dashboard is equipped with three key numbers, notifications, and offers a quick look at each Mentee’s pathway progress and reps waiting for review.
- Simplified Skill Sets: Skill Sets now allow the combination of multiple tasks into a skill that is performed by the Mentees. Multiple, easy-to-understand services performed by the Mentee now make up a Skill Set. Instead of adding 6 reps for the steps of an oil change, Mentors and Mentees just record the oil change!
These improvements collectively create a more accessible and efficient platform, enabling you to focus more on growth and development.
Less Clicks, More Data!
Our latest update focuses on streamlining user experience with less clicks and more data! Key enhancements include:
- New Navigation: The new navigation menu helps Mentors and Mentees spend less time in the system and quickly access records.
- Quick Submissions: Mentees submit multiple tasks at one time by submitting repetitions at the skill level.
- Quick Approvals: Managers and Mentors approve many tasks at once by approving repetitions at the skill level.
These updates streamline workflows and enhance data tracking, allowing users to focus on driving competencies and skill growth.
